** DDSDNLD **

This tool helps verify that a file which "claims" to have originated from me
is in fact something that I have published, is EXACTLY what I published, and
has not been tampered with.

Possible sources of "bogus" files are:

- Some claiming to be hosting files I published on a different web site.
I have no way to confirm (or even know about) such files.

- If someone were to "hack" into my site, files I'm publishing could be
tampered with and I might not immediatly detect this.

DDSDNLD is simple to use, just place the content of this archive, along with
DDSDNLD.DAT (from my DDSDNLDB.ZIP) in the same location as the downloaded
file(s), go there are run:
     Dos/Win32> DDSDNLD
  Win64/Linux > DVM DDSDNLD

** DDSDNLD is in a sparate archive because it has to be re-archived after
** it has recorded the archive signatures and therefore can't record it's
** own signature - I have taken some measures to make it very hard to make
** a usable bogus database.

Contained in the DDSDNLD and DDSDNLDB archives:
DDSDNLD.COM <- DOS/Win32 edition, you can just run this.
DDSDNLD.DVM <- DVM/Win64 edition - you need DVM (on my site)
to run it (DVM does not have to be "installed" and doesn't
leave "droppings" on your system). You can simply put DVM.EXE
in the same place, go there and run: DVM DDSDNLD
DDSDNLD.DAT <- Database to validate my current downloads.
This will change as my download files get updated, and will always
reflect the downloads currently on my site.

Note, I've automated updating/publishing this database as much as I can,
however it's possible that DDSDNLD.DAT didn't get updated after something
else did -- if you get a DDSDNLD failure on a file which you obtained (at
the same time as DDSDNLD.DAT) directly from my site:
Please CONTACT ME so that I can check into it!
